目前，公司已被认定为“天津市科技型中小企业”，成为“天津市科技协作促进会”成员。主要工作有“稀土催化材料制备与应用技术”、
“稀土发光材料制备及应用技术”、“稀土磁性材料应用及永磁电机制造相关技术”、“理化检测中心”等项目的研究与开发，以及科研团队建设和科技开发成果与产业的对接等工作，力争发挥各方优势，通过技术创新与进步，为推进我国稀土产业持续健康发展做出积极的贡献。

Tianjin Baogang Rare Earth Research Institute Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baotou Research Institute of Rare Earths and was established in August 2012 with total register investment of 45.5 million yuan. We are mainly engaged in R&D, application and marketing of rare earth deep processing products and rare earth advanced materials. We will make efforts to build a technological system with independent intellectual property rights for industrialization of rare earth deep processing products and rare earth advanced materials with the aim to make contributions to promote sound and sustainable development of rare earth industry in China through wide cooperation with manufacturers, universities, research institutes and applied enterprises.
   Tianjin Baogang Rare Earth Research Institute Co., Ltd. has been identified as “Tianjin Small and Medium-sized S&T Enterprises” and become a member of “Tianjin Association for Promotion of Science and Technology”. At present, we have worked on new rare earth luminescent materials, new rare earth catalyst, new rare earth ceramics and their applications. Moreover, we have also undertaken many R&D tasks from the state, local governments and enterprises. Our testing laboratory has passed the accreditation of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment.
